The NHL hockey season is underway once again, and we’re excited to share this custom engraved Vancouver Canucks beer mug from last season. During a rough patch for the team, with a record-setting goal drought and three consecutive shutouts, we wanted to see if we could bring them some luck with a special engraved mug. The 26 oz glass mug features the Canucks’ slogan, “We are all Canucks,” and the Johnny Canuck Logo, complete with his impressive beard. While enjoying some beer from the mug, we watched the Canucks take on Nashville and were thrilled when Bo Horvat scored early in the first period, breaking the streak. Although the Canucks ultimately lost in a shootout, the streak was finally broken.

Engraved Vancouver Canucks Glass Beer Mug
Made from beautiful and very Canadian maple wood (though I can’t prove it’s from Canada). I had made the rings with many rounds of sanding and polishing to get them ready for the engraving. Each of the three rings was engraved with its own super hero logo. The great thing about these ring is they showed off the detail even at small sizes that the laser can produce.
These rings were done for a contest we ran last September. The contest ran from Tuesday September 29, 2015 to Thursday October 8, 2015 with the winner being selected and announced on Friday the 9th. The rings were won by Richard Mitchell J. Kapustinsky.

This was one of the first fun projects I did with my laser engraving machine. You have a laser your options are silly fun or try and take over the world, right?
After looking around for a pattern to use on the shoes I stumbled across these stars and thought it was too perfect to pass up. Get it stars for Star Engraving…. Who doesn’t live a good pun? Ya I wish I had of come up with one instead of this terrible joke.
After cleaning and stuffing the shoes to puff them up in preparation it was time for the engraving. With the curve of the shoes I got a nice fade of the engraving side to side with sharp stars in the middle.
